Capital Cruises Inc. was incorporated in May of 2007 to operate a daily sightseeing and evening event passenger vessel the “Empress of Ottawa” on the Ottawa River .

The company, family owned and operated, has over fifty years of experience in the marine and tourism industry. We have successfully operated in other venues and now bring that expertise to the Ottawa region.

The company is innovative and encompasses the latest in technology on the “Empress of Ottawa” with passenger safety, comfort and enjoyment for your experience with us.

We are ambassadors of the National Capital Region, making welcome all visitors, exceeding their expectations and facilitating fond memories of the Nation’s Capital.

We believe in supporting the community and hence are contributing sponsors to the Ottawa Senators Foundation in supporting the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Rogers House among others that it supports.

Not only do we have the daily sightseeing venue we also provide private charter service for corporate functions, weddings, and private parties. Our regular scheduled evening dinner cruises as well as our themed cruises were a big hit in our first season and are being expanded as the demand grows.
